Jessica Hull (Aus) sets a New Area Record at the 2020 World Athletics Indoor Tour (New Balance Indoor Grand Prix) in Boston, USA. In the women’s 1500m, Jessica Hull of Australia burst to the front in the final straight to win in 4:04.14, taking more than two seconds off the Oceanian indoor record.
Matthew Baxter (NZL) finished 4th at the 2020 BU John Thomas Terrier Classic (Boston, USA), with a time of 13:27.61 in the Men’s 5k Indoor. Taking more then 9 seconds off the previous record. The previous Area Record was held by David MCNEILL (AUS) 13:36.40 – set in 2010.
Both Athletes have also set new National Records.
