Oceania 10km Road Championships

The Oceania 10km Road Championships were held in conjunction with the Hobart Run the Bridge 10km Race.

Lisa Weightman, Australian Olympian, powered away in the Women’s race, to record a course record time, and become Oceania Champion. Finishing second was Charlotte Purdue, a British Representative, and top ten finisher at last year’s World Championships. Rounding out the podium was Canadian Olympian Andrea Seccafien.

The Oceania Championships podium Lisa Weightman, was joined by Australian Mountain Running representative Ellie O’Kane, and in the bronze medal position to local women Meriem Daoui.

It was another Australian Olympian, who won the Men’s race, with Liam Adams, taking line honours, ahead of rising start Dejen Gebreselassie and Brad Milosevic in third.
