Through the Pacific Sports Partnership Program over the next 12 months Athletics Fiji is planning to involve more Special Schools around the country with the help of Ministry of Education to participate in the Kids Athletics Program. Working with special schools is one of the three main goals of the program
Programs for special schools would include certifying the teachers as Kids Athletics Activators which enables them to hold kids athletics programs within their schools all year round.
IAAF World Champs Mascot
This year one of the Highlights of the IAAF world championships was their new mascot Hero the Hedgehog, being a funny and acrobatic mascot he created a entertaining atmosphere.
