Oceania Athletics Athletes Commision

The Oceania Athletics Association has been working with a small Working Group on the formation of the Oceania Athletics Association Athletes Commission.

The Working Group has been chaired by IAAF Athletes Commission Deputy Chairperson, Dame Valerie Adams (NZL).

In conjunction with the OAA Council the Working Group have finalised the Terms of Reference for the OAA-Athletes Commission and are now in a position to send out Expressions of Interest for Members of the Commission.

We would ask that all Member Federations share this information with their Athletes and that they are proactive in assisting in the identification of Athletes who may wish to be part of this important OAA Commission.  The OAA Office will assist by ensuring this information is available on OAA social media.

Expressions of Interest for membership of the Commission should be sent to a dedicated email address which will only be accessed by the Chair of the Working Group.  Expressions of Interest should be sent no later than the 31st January 2019.
