Dubai, United Arab Emirates will host the 9th World Para Athletics Championships next year from the 7-12 November.
It’s the first time the WPA Championships will be held in the United Arab Emirates. It is expected that more than 1,300 athletes will compete at the brand new athletics stadium of the Dubai Club for People of Determination.
The IAAF World Championships are held a month prior in Doha, Qatar. Both the World Para and IAAF Championships are held in the later part of the year, allowing 9 months until the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
