#IDSDP Lautoka hosts Time Trials

#IDSDP Lautoka hosts Time Trials

On Saturday 1st April the newly re-opened Churchill Park in Lautoka was host to the Athletics Fiji Lautoka Time Trials for the first time.

Local schools and clubs have certainly be waiting for this and many came to compete and watch: 17 schools and clubs with more than 200 Athletes, 500 spectators and 30 Officials did not want to miss the fun.

Events included sprints, middle distance, relays, jumps and throws for children from 10 years old up to seniors.

The Lautoka track is the start to a great development and chance for Athletics Fiji to spread their wings all over Fiji and be able to offer high quality competitions in multiple venues and settings in the country.

Congratulations to all athletes who competed at Churchill Park on the weekend. We wish you all the best for the upcoming National Championships!
