Tonga National Championships

The year ended in Tonga, with their National Championships being conducted on December 8th and 9th at Teufaiva Sport Stadium. Highlights from the day, included an impressive 15.19m winning throw from Atamaama Tuutafaiva. Whilst double Pacific Games Gold Medalist, Mosese Foliaki, won the 110m Hurdles.

2020 was a challenging year for Athletics Vanuatu especially with the pandemic affecting the whole world.
