Potts Classic – World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze

The Continental Tour returns to Hastings for the Potts Classic. The New Zealand 3000m Championships headlines the event with exciting action leading up to the Championship Races.
Athletes from New Zealand, Samoa and the Cook Islands will be going to head to head against International visitors making Mitre 10 Park the place to be on Saturday afternoon.
The Continental Tour Bronze Events and New Zealand Summer Circuit have brought some thrilling performances, Potts Classic will be no different.
The pre-meet program will see, Open, Para and Club athletes go head to head with the action beginning from 4pm local time.

Oceania
🇳🇿 Nick Palmer The Oceania Shot Put Champion opens his season at the Potts Classic leading an International field
🇳🇿 Alison Andrews Paul Oceania 800m Champion is the fastest through in the Women’s 800m, the one two watch in the two lap pursuit
🇦🇺 Jaryd Clifford PLY The Paralympic medallist and talented across all distances will be one to watch up the front of the Men’s 3000m
🇳🇿 Laura Nagel Oceania 1500m Champion, and fastest in the field for the 3000m and looking to add the 3000m crown to her impressive 1500m – 10km Road NZ Titles
🇳🇿 Sam Ruthe Junior Athlete has been setting World Best Performances for his age on the Summer Circuit.
🇳🇿 Oli Chignell Leads the standings going into the Men’s 3000m with an array of NZ’s sub 8 minute runners hot on his hells.
