Let’s get to know our latest member of the OAA Masters Athletes Commission

Name: Greg Borja
Member Federation Northern Mariana Islands

I competed in my first Masters competition in 2021 during the Northern Marianas Athletics-Track & Field Open, competing in long jump, javelin, and shot put. I competed again in 2023 during the Oceania Masters Championships held on Saipan, medaling in long jump, shot put, and the 60M. I appreciate the competition and friendships I have developed with athletes from across the Pacific in the past few years. Additionally, I assist our National Federation as a Technical Official during interscholastic cross country and athletics events. When I’m not competing or officiating, I work for a non-profit organization that practices disability law. My enjoyment of our sport and my day job has created an interest in supporting para-athletics and para-athletes. I look forward to working with the Masters Athletes Commission and creating awareness of our sport here in the Northern Marianas and throughout the region.
