The Cook Island Games Athletics competition is set to take place on 11^th and 12^th of October. The two week multi sport event will feature athletics, rugby, netball and traditional canoe racing. The event aims to showcase local talent amongst the Cook Islands amongst ceremonies, and cultural performances.

Now in its 3rd edition, the Games began as competition between the islands when the borders closed during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Team Mauke won the inaugural competition in 2020. 2022 saw the introduction of the Youth and Masters categories, with Team Mangaia victorious. Who will take the title in 2024?
