All Regions of Oceania Represented on OAA Masters Athletes Commission

The Oceania Athletics Association Masters Athletes Commission leads the way as a collective representing all areas of Oceania.

Commission members are now representing all areas, from Micronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia, with the recent appointment of Andrew Logan from the Cook Islands and Greg Borja of Northern Mariana Islands. Joining Tim Rodgers (NFI), Donna Hiscox (AUS), Hazel McDonnel (AUS), Joan Merrilees (NZL).

Chairperson Tim Rodgers (NFI) said:

 “The Commission thrives as a cohesive group of dedicated members who consistently contribute to addressing the critical issues faced over the past twelve months. Their proactive stance reinforces our collective goal of promoting Masters Athletics across our  vast region.

As a Commission, we’re proud to be continuing the work of OAA and World Athletics, who have always understood the importance of geographical representation in every region.  

As Chair, I am deeply grateful for the unwavering commitment and valuable contributions of these individuals.”

Look out for announcements of Masters Athletics events the commission is planning, culminating in the Oceania Athletics Masters Cup in Nuku’alofa Tonga October 29 – November 1.
