Eugene spent his preparations for the Commonwealth Games at Oceania House here on the Gold Coast, with the rest of Team Fiji. While here he went to Somerset College and Varsity College to meet the students there and it’s fair to say he quickly became everyone’s favourite.
“Gene” is doing an amazing job back in Fiji to develop the sport of athletics in his homeland and we here at OAA are so very proud of all he does both on and off the competition field.
